Service Description

Saranya Jayalal is a Bharatanatyam practitioner and disciple of Smt. Lakshmi Viswanath of Laasyapriyaa School of Natyam, Abu Dhabi. She began her training at the age of six and has pursued nearly two decades of dedicated learning in the Kalakshetra style, continuing her advanced studies beyond her Arangetram in 2017. Throughout her training, she has performed extensively in dance productions, cultural festivals, and repertory presentations across the UAE with Laasyapriyaa School of Natyam. She later became a member of Apara Collective in Barcelona, performing alongside fellow Bharatanatyam artists, and has been an active performer with Sanskriti since 2025. Saranya is passionate about preserving and sharing the rich heritage of Bharatanatyam through both performance and teaching. She is committed to nurturing students with a strong foundation in technique, discipline, and artistic expression while fostering a lifelong appreciation for Indian classical dance. At Sanskriti, her classes create a warm and encouraging space for kids to learn and grow at their own pace. The focus is on strong fundamentals, rhythm, posture, and expressive movement, while also enjoying the process of learning. Whether you are completely new to Bharatanatyam or returning to dance after a break these classes are designed to help you connect with the art form and experience the joy of movement.
